1. Who we are

CDL HazMat Practice is a practice website for the CDL Hazardous Materials (HazMat / H) endorsement knowledge test, published under the HazMat Ready brand ("we", "us"). HazMat Ready is an independent practice-test website. By using this website, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. The service

The site provides original practice material for the HazMat knowledge test, based on Section 9 of the official CDL handbook and cross-checked against 49 CFR:

• A free 10-question diagnostic with explanations and handbook/CFR sources.
• A free 30-question mock exam in the California format (80% passing line).
• A full bank of 400 original practice questions with explanations and sources, organized by topic, plus a wrong-answer notebook.

Everything on this site is free. This site is a free educational practice resource, provided as-is for personal study. No account is required. Your progress and your wrong-answer notebook are stored in your own browser on your device.

3. Not an official test product

• This site is not affiliated with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), any state Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), or any other government agency.
• Every question is original practice material written for this site. They are not real exam questions, and no real test content is reproduced here.
• Practice results — including any "readiness" indication — are study aids only. We do not guarantee that you will pass any knowledge test or obtain any endorsement. Always confirm the current rules in your state's official CDL handbook and in 49 CFR before your test.

4. Acceptable use

The content on this site is provided free for your personal exam preparation. You agree that you will not:

• Copy, redistribute, resell, or publish the question bank or explanations, in whole or in part.
• Use the site or its content for any unlawful purpose, or misrepresent the material as official exam content.
• Attempt to disrupt the site.

5. Accuracy and availability

We work to keep the practice material aligned with the current CDL handbook and 49 CFR, but regulations change and errors can occur. The site and its content are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We may update, add, or remove content, and the site may be unavailable from time to time for maintenance or technical reasons.

6. Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
